In the spring time of 2011, the five growers Rafal Szmit, Paweł Grzeszczak Sławomir Ziętek, Robert Galek and Jarosław Daczka began discussions about Producer’s Group establishment. The first stage of these discussions, on 23.08.2011, was the formal establishment of a company under the name FruVitaLand Sp. z o. o. At the same time the board of the company was elected, which operates to this day in the composition :

In the autumn of 2011. works on a five-year Plan for Recognition began. After a few months, on 15.12.2011 the Marshal of Lublin approved Fruvitaland as the Group of Fruit and Vegetable Producers. Less than two weeks after receiving of the decision, on 28 December, the inaugural meeting with the future members of the group was held. In February 2012 87 members of the group were officially approved. At the beginning of 2013 the number of members increased by 22 persons, and in February 2014 by another 18 people. We currently have 128 shareholders.

Currently, the company's head office is located in Piotrawin.

Fruvitland Sp. z o. o. has two facilities:

- the first one is the warehouse with the offices in Granice.  Its area - 1200 m² includes: social part, offices, stowage and four cooling chambers with a capacity of approx 600 tons

- the second one is the Logistic Center in Piotrawin. The planned total area of the building is about 8000 m2. It includes:

two-storey office part with the social facilities (area of 680 m²)

sorting and shipment part (area of 6124 m²)

8 cooling chambers with a capacity of 1200 tons.

Deadline for completion of the entire project is planned for the spring of 2015.

The growers of Fruvitland have their plantations in the western part of the picturesque Lublin region. In the valley of the Vistula river the conditions for the development of agriculture are very favourable especially for fruit growing. We are growing and selling mainly apples, cherries, plums, pears, strawberries, raspberries, currants and vegetables.

Our members have a total area of. 1,100 hectares that includes:

  • Orchards 527 hectares mainly:

- apples – 442 hectares

- cherries – 70 hectares

  • Soft fruits 242 hectares mainly:

- currants – 138 hectares

- raspberries – 94 hectares

  • Other fruit and vegetables 320 hectares.

We hope that our facilities and our growers’ long-lasting experience in cultivation of the highest quality fruit will promote the sale and distribution of the products on the domestic and foreign markets. We have created a group in order to concentrate our production so it will allow our members to obtain high prices and our customers to gain big batch of the most stringent quality standards.
